The seven hour drive to Choteau, Montana in the middle of the night on the 4th of July gave no hint of the gorgeous day ahead, which made the uncertain travel up highway 200, over a sketchy stretch of dirt road and not a car in sight for over 3 hours of the trip, and 4 Monster energy drinks split between Erik and I, totally WORTH IT. For our friends that have never been, Choteau is a sweet little town on the north side of Montana State, just  south east of Glacier National Park. The Clark family lives on the edge of town on a fantastic bit of farm property. That's where Karli & Ben chose to set up their ceremony location... So, the morning of the 5th, Erik and I got all dolled up for a day of wedding photography and headed out to take a look around. I felt like I walked right into a country storybook. The bustle of the town not a stones throw down the road fell away and left just the sound of a light breeze rustling cotton out of the trees. We hopped on one of the four wheelers and rode alongside a shallow creek to the most perfect clearing in a grove of trees. This is where they pounded a huge wood cross at the altar and rows of white chairs sat empty, waiting. Time to pick up our jaws and find the guys at the house and gals getting ready at Jagged Edge salon. We settled into our lens and got to work...
